The service was amazing. We were seated immediately by the owner and our order quickly taken. I ordered the Mickey mouse pancake for my daughter and they surprised her with Minnie which made her day! The Fried Artichoke was delicious. We split the patty melt and fries which was the perfect portion for our lunch. Highly recommend this cute diner!
Nice fresh seafood. Fish n chips fresh crisp and tasty. Oysters on the half shell both bbq baked and raw were excellent. An added bonus is clear view of the Moss Landing power plant where a battery fire occurred earlier this year. This idyllic seaside area doesn’t really need a battery facility that can and did cause local environmental harm.
SO SO happy we stumbled upon this place after seeing the ‘Deep fried artichokes’ sign on the freeway. The artichokes were amazing! A lovely substitute for fish for vegetarians that are hanging out with seafood lovers. The host was lovely, served us hot water instead of regular iced water no problem - the decor and flowers made for the perfect ambience. Continued on with our roadtrip feeling so satisfied!!
This tiny place is a gem. Seriously, we had lunch here then dinner at a Michelin star restaurant in Carmel, and we preferred our lunch! We had the fried artichokes, the fish wrap and the fish and chips; they were all stellar. (I grew up in Britain, and I know fish and chips!) The house tomato sauce is unusual and goes really well with seafood. The service was quick and friendly. Hey, Michelin, how about stopping by the Moss Landing Inn!
This place was excellent, the service was friendly and the food was amazing. Small cozy inside with a warm feeling. I recomend the Castroville omlet or the fried calamari sandwich. Bomb AF. Stopped by after whale watching and had a delightful lunch. Friendly service, generous portions. Got the grilled sea bass topped with whisper thin onion rings served over Caesar salad - delicious. Definitely worth a return.
The sweet and spicy calamari had amazing sauce, the jalapeno peppers were spicy, the fish and chips were tasty good size serving, fried artichokes were very yummy, the skirt steak was tender but a little over marinated. Beer was nice and cold.
We stopped by after our whale watching trip and got the California Eggs Benedict and the Fried Artichoke Hearts and my goodness were they amazing! Best Benedict I've ever had; must be the roasted red pepper hollandaise! Wonderful, friendly atmosphere. Definitely stop here!
